Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the PerfectPlay mobile and desktop applications and the perfect-play.app website (together, "PerfectPlay"). By using PerfectPlay you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.
1. What PerfectPlay is
PerfectPlay is an educational application that teaches optimal decision strategies for casino card games. It simulates hands locally on your device and grades your decisions against a mathematically optimal reference. PerfectPlay does not facilitate, accept, or process wagers of money or anything of monetary value, and does not operate as a gambling service.
2. Educational use only
PerfectPlay is provided for educational and entertainment purposes. The strategies, paytables, return-to-player figures, and recommendations shown in the app are mathematical computations based on stated rules and assumptions. They do not constitute advice to gamble, and we make no claim that following them will result in any particular outcome at a real casino.
3. Gambling is risky
Casino games have a built-in house edge. No strategy — perfect or otherwise — can change a negative-expectation game into a positive-expectation one (with the narrow exception of advantage play techniques like card counting, which require very specific conditions and substantial bankroll discipline). If you choose to gamble, do so only with money you can afford to lose, and only where it is legal. If gambling is causing you harm, free, confidential help is available — examples by region:

4. Age
PerfectPlay is rated 17+ on the App Store and Teen on Google Play. You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use it.
5. Licence
Subject to these terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use PerfectPlay for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reverse engineer the app, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this limitation. You may not redistribute the app or extract its content for use in competing products.
6. No warranty
PerfectPlay is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. While we test the engine extensively, we don't promise it is bug-free or that the recommendations are correct under every paytable, ruleset, or scenario.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of PerfectPlay, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. In any case our aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for PerfectPlay in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 25.
PerfectPlay is not a gambling product and we have no liability for any losses you incur at a real casino or other gambling venue, regardless of whether you used PerfectPlay's strategies.
8. Trademarks
Game names used inside PerfectPlay (e.g., "Three Card Showdown", "Ride Poker") are descriptive non-trademarked names chosen to avoid implying any endorsement by, or affiliation with, the holders of any registered trademarks for similar products. All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Privacy
Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy. Short version: we don't collect any.
10. Termination
You can stop using PerfectPlay at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering the app, or release updates that change its behaviour, at any time. We will not delete your local stats — they remain on your device until you uninstall.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the publisher is resident, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction. Where you have consumer-protection rights that cannot be waived, nothing here removes them.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
